Millennia Institute Student Management Framework
At MI, Student Management practices are grounded in the following principles:
Promote a safe and supportive environment and a culture of care
Prevent challenging behaviours from occurring
Address inappropriate behaviour promptly
Restore relationships with others hurt by their actions
Replace inappropriate behaviour with prosocial, appropriate one
Correct it before it affects students’ development and well-being
Millennia Institute’s Core Values of Curiosity, Respect, Resilience, Responsibility and Integrity form the basis of the Institute Rules. These rules aim to set a standard of behaviour expected of all Millennia Institute students so that they may maintain a positive attitude towards learning and lead civil and respectable lives in society. Every student in MI matters. In this regard, there is a need to foster a spirit of cooperation and to observe these rules that are for the good of all.
The full school rules can be found in the student handbook. They will also be sent to parents at the beginning of the school year.
